On Thursday, October 24th, 2019 the Adair County Sheriff's Office responded to the 2-vehicle head-on collision that occurred approximately 6 miles east of Columbia on Hwy 80 (Russell Springs Road).
32-year-old Bradley Whitehead of Russell Springs, KY was operating a 2012 Kia Soul westbound on Hwy 80, when he crossed the center line and struck a 2015 Chevy Cruze, being driven by 20-year-old Kassondra Sanford of Russell Springs, KY.
According to the police report, an impaired operator (Bradley Whitehead) is believed to have been a factor in the collision.
Adair County Deputy Derek Padgett is continuing the investigation.
