On Sunday, October 27, 2019 at 1:21amCT, Sheriff's K-9 Deputy Josh Durbin and K-9 "Nitro" initiated a traffic stop 15 miles east of Columbia in the Millerfield community. As a result of the stop, 37-year-old Wendell Reynolds of Greensburg, KY was arrested by Deputy Durbin on the following charges:
- Possession of a Controlled Substance, 1st Degree (Methamphetamine)
- Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
- Operating a Motor Vehicle on Suspended Operators License
- No Tailights
A passenger, 35-year-old Mary K. Underwood, was arrested by Deputy Joey Keith on an outstanding Felony Indictment Warrant out of Green County. Both were lodged in the Adair County Regional Jail.
The Adair County Sheriffs Office is continuing the investigation.
