On Friday, November 1, 2019 at 10:00 A.M. Campbellsville Police responded to Wal-Mart in reference to a shoplifter. After an investigation, officers arrested 44 year old Wanda Manning of Stanford for shoplifting. During the investigation, Ms. Manning originally gave her sister’s name and information to the officers in an attempt to avoid the officers from finding out that Ms. Manning had outstanding warrants. Once at the jail, Ms. Manning attempted to take Meth inside the jail by hiding it in her pants. Once jail deputies located the meth, Ms. Manning then attempted to swallow it. She was subsequently charged with the following:
Theft of Identity of Another without Consent
Burglary 3rd degree
Possession of a Controlled Substance 1st degree (Meth)
Tampering with Physical Evidence
Promoting Contraband 1st degree
