On Monday, November 11, 2019 at 5:09pmCT, Deputy Josh Durbin was traveling on Quinn Hollow Road when he observed headlights over an embankment. Upon stopping to investigate, Deputy Durbin discovered that 46-year-old Jose Gonzales of Columbia, KY was operating a 2004 Hyundai and had lost control of the vehicle.
Gonzales was treated and released from TJ Health Columbia and then taken into custody by the Sheriffs Office on the following charges:
- Operating a Motor Vehicle Under the Influence of Alcohol/Drugs
- No Drivers License
- Possession of Open Alcoholic Container in Vehicle
Gonzales was lodged in the Adair County Regional Jail by K-9 Deputy Josh Durbin.
