On Thursday, November 14, 2019 at 8:45amCT, Chief Deputy Justin Cross was dispatched to the 37 mile marker west of Columbia on the Cumberland Parkway.
Jamie Boogle, 20, of Columbia, KY was operating a 2005 Scion, headed east on the Parkway, when he dropped off the roadway, traveled across the median and overturned, sliding across the eastbound lanes of the Parkway. The vehicle came to rest in a rock cut ditch.
Boogie was treated on scene by Adair EMS and then transported to TJ Health Columbia for additional treatment.
Responding agencies were the Adair County Sheriffs Office, Adair EMS, and the Columbia - Adair County Fire Department.
