The Adair County Sheriffs Office is investigating an armed robbery that occurred this morning (Thursday) at 7775 Campbellsville Road. At 8:14amCT, an unknown white male, approximately 5'7"- 5'9" tall, weighing approx. 250lbs, entered the Dollar General store located near the Adair/Taylor County line. He produced a black handgun and demanded money from the employee. The suspect left the business with approximately $150 in cash. He got into a gray SUV believed to be a Chevy Equinox (around a 2012 model) with a female who was waiting. The vehicle them sped toward Taylor County.
