The Adair County Sheriffs Office obtains warrants for the arrest of armed robbery suspects at Dollar General Store.
On Thursday, December 12, 2019 at 8:14amCT, an unknown white male entered the Dollar General store located at 7775 Campbellsville Rd in Adair County. Upon entering the store, he went behind the counter, produced a handgun and demanded cash.
The suspect then fled in a silver Chevrolet Equinox, along with a female, toward Taylor County where they stole two additional vehicles.
The Adair County Sheriffs Office has swore out warrants this morning (Friday), with Adair County Attorney Jennifer Hutchison Corbin, for the arrest of 34-year-old Timothy Smith and 31-year-old Brittni Smith of Evansville, Indiana. The warrants are for Armed Robbery, 1st degree.

Commonwealth Attorney Brian Wright has authorized full extradition of Timothy Smith and Brittni Smith, who are married, to be brought back to Adair County to face these charges when they are caught.
Chief Deputy Justin Cross and Sheriff Brockman are investigating incident. They were assisted by Kentucky State Police and Campbellsville Police Officer Ryan Jewel.
