Early this (Sunday) morning just after 4:00amCT, Columbia Police Dept. Officers were dispatched to a suspicious person call in the Crestview subdivision off Rice Drive. Upon making contact with a female dressed in black and walking barefoot, it was determined the subject was intoxicated.
When attempting to place her into custody, she began to flee on foot before quickly being apprehended and arrested.
Candace Hough, 34, of Glasgow, KY was charged with Public Intoxication, Criminal Trespassing, Fleeing and Evading on Foot, and Disorderly Conduct.
Officer Adam Cravens made the arrest. He was assisted on scene by Deputy Josh Durbin.
