According to Adair County Sheriff Josh Brockman, on Tuesday, January 14, 2020 at 1:58amCT, Adair County K-9 Deputy Josh Durbin initiated a stop on the LBN Cumberland Parkway on a 2010 Ford car. After a roadside investigation, 32-year-old Hillary Smith of Hart County, KY was arrested and charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance, 1st degree (Methamphetamine), as well as an outstanding felony warrant for her arrest out of Hart County. Smith was lodged in the Adair County Regional Jail. The Adair County Sheriffs Office is continuing the investigation.
