On Saturday, January 18, 2020 at 4:05pmET, Campbellsville Police Officer Jonathon Leigh responded to Walmart after receiving a reported shoplifter call. 42-year-old Jason Huff of Campbellsville was arrested and charged with Shoplifting. While Huff was being placed under arrest, Officer Leigh discovered Huff was in possession of methamphetamine. In addition to the TBUT (Shoplifting) charge, Huff was also charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance 1st degree (Methamphetamine) and transported to the Taylor County Detention Center.
Arrested on Monday afternoon, January 20, 2020 was 39-year-old Joey Popplewell of Campbellsville. He was arrested by Campbellsville Police Officer Fields and charged with TBUT Under $500 (Shoplifting) and lodged in the Taylor Co. Detention Center.
