Unemployment rates rose in 56 Kentucky counties between December 2018 and December
2019, fell in 46 and stayed the same in 18 counties, according to the Kentucky
Center for Statistics, an agency of the Kentucky Education and Workforce
Development Cabinet.
Locally, unemployment rose year-to-year in Adair, Green, and Metcalfe counties, and
was down in Casey, Cumberland, Russell, and Taylor Counties.
