Liberty, KY (February 4, 2020) - 34-year-old Ed Edwards of Liberty, KY was arrested on Wednesday, January 29th, 2020 at 9:12amET on Industrial Park Drive in Liberty following an investigation by KSP Trooper Billy Begley. Edwards was indicted on January 27th, 2020 by the Casey County Grand Jury and charged with 8 counts of Incest (victim under 12 years of age or serious physical injury), 3 counts of Incest (forcible compulsion/incapable of consent or under 18 years old), 2 counts of Rape 1st degree, 2 counts of Sexual Abuse 1st degree, 7 counts of Sodomy 1st degree (victim under 12), 2 counts of Sodomy 1st degree, and 11 counts of Criminal Abuse 1st degree (child 12 or under).

Edwards was lodged in the Casey County Detention Center.
