On Sunday, February 2nd, 2020 at 5:34pmCT, the Adair County Sheriff's Office was dispatched to the 2-vehicle injury accident at the intersection of Christine Road and Hwy East 80. Upon arrival and a roadside investigation, Deputy Joey Keith determined that 19-year-old William Feese of Columbia, who was traveling on Christine Road, reportedly disregarded the stop sign at the intersection of Christine Rd and KY 80 and struck a vehicle traveling East on Hwy 80 being driven by Scotty Enis of Cane Valley.
Feese was not injured and was arrested and charged with Operating a Motor Vehicle Under The Influence, Possession of Marijuana, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. He was lodged in the Adair Co. Regional Jail.
Enis was transported to TJ Health Columbia by Adair County EMS for treatment. A 14-year-old passenger was transported by private vehicle to Russell County Hospital for treatment of injuries sustained in the accident.
Adair County Deputy Joel Keith investigated the accident.
