2 GREEN CO. RESIDENTS ARRESTED ON DRUG CHARGES AT CAMPBELLSVILLE WALMART

 
On Tuesday, February 11, 2020 at 7:27pmET, Campbellsville Police received a complaint of a possible intoxicated person at Walmart in Campbellsville, KY. Officer Elliott Taylor responded and came into contact with 26-year-old Kyrie Hollins of Greensburg, KY. Ms. Hollins was determined to be under the influence of methamphetamine and placed under arrest. Upon a search of Ms. Hollins, meth was located. She was transported to the Taylor County Detention Center and charged with Public Intoxication and Possession of a Controlled Substance 1st degree (Methamphetamine).
 
On Tuesday, February 11, 2020 at 7:40pmET, Campbellsville Police received a complaint of another intoxicated person inside C-ville Walmart. Officer Josh Patrick responded and located 24-year-old Mark A. Rice of Greensburg inside the store. Rice was yelling at Walmart employees as Officer Patrick came into contact with him. Officer Patrick determined that Rice was under the influence and placed him under arrest. Officer Patrick searched Mr. Rice and found Walmart merchandise concealed on him, along with methamphetamine. Rice was transported to the Taylor County Detention Center where he was charged with Theft by Unlawful Taking U/$500 (Shoplifting), Public Intoxication, Possession of a Controlled Substance 1st degree (Methamphetamine), and Disorderly Conduct.
