The Russell Springs Police Dept. reports an early morning arrest on Thursday after a complaint of a suspicious person.
Just before 1:30amCT on Thursday, Feb. 20, 2020 RSPD Officer Ethan Pike received a complaint of a male sitting on a motorcycle in the Middletown Trailer Park. Through the course of the investigation, approximately 7.43 grams of suspected methamphetamine was located and seized.
Arrested was 46-year-old Steven G. Allen of Somerset, KY who was taken into custody on the following charges:
- Possession Controlled Substance 1st Meth
- Operating motor vehicle under the influence
- Possession of Drug paraphernalia
- Operating on suspended license
- No motorcycle license
- License to be in possession
- No registration plates
- No registration receipt
- Failure to transfer motor vehicle
- Failure to maintain insurance
- Failure to produce insurance
Allen was lodged in the Russell County Detention Center. Officer Pike was assisted on scene by Deputy Dustin Bunch.
