The Columbia Police executed a search warrant within a room at The Sleep Inn, Friday, February 21, 2020 after beginning an investigation upon receiving a tip of drug activity. After conducting a search, Officers located and seized 5 stolen firearms as well as 4 ounces of suspected methamphetamine, digital scales, $9,742 in cash, Xanax and marijuana.
Paul Cruse, 28, of Greensburg has been charged with Trafficking in a Controlled Substance (methamphetamine), Trafficking in Marijuana, Possession of a Firearm by a Convicted Felon and Receiving Stolen Property.
Officer Drew Conn was the investigating Officer. He was assisted on scene by Officer Jordan Dean, Deputy Justin Cross and Deputy Joey Keith.
