A Russell County woman was taken into custody on several charges early this morning by Russell Springs Police.

Just after 1:00amCT, RSPD Officer Justice arrested Nicole Hicks, 36, of Russell Springs, KY for No Registration Plates, No Registration Receipt, Failure to Produce Insurance Card, Failure of Non-Owner Operator to Maintain Required Insurance, 1^st Offense, Operating on a Suspended or Revoked License, Drug Paraphernalia – Buy/Possession, Possession of a Controlled Substance, 3^rd Degree, Drug Unspecified, Possession of Marijuana, Failure to Appear, Contempt of Court Libel/Slander Resistance to Order, Non-Payment of Court Costs, Fees and Fines. Hicks was lodged in the Russell County Detention Center.

A Burkesville man was charged with Possession of Meth and other charges after being taken into custody just after midnight.

Dallas R. Hayes, 29, of Burkesville, KY - Arrested by BPD overnight for Possession of a controlled Substance (Methamphetamine), Driving on a DUI Suspended License, Posession of Drug Paraphernalia, and One Headlight. He was lodged in the Adair Co. Regional Jail.
