On Saturday morning, June 5, 2021 at 2:48amCT, Adair County Deputy Kenny Perkins initiated a traffic stop on KY 55 approximately 5 miles north of Columbia. As a result of the stop, methamphetamine and a large amount of suspected Spice (a synthetic drug), along with cash was located and seized.
Christopher Spaulding of Campbellsville, KY was arrested and lodged in the Adair County Regional Jail on the following charges:
- No Tail Lamps
- Operating a Motor Vehicle on a DUI Suspended License
- Possession of a Controlled Substance 1st degree (Methamphetamine)
- Trafficking in a Synthetic Drug 1st degree (Spice)
The investigation is continuing.
