On Friday, September 24, 2021 at 10:55pmET, Campbellsville Police responded to a report of a shooting at 117 South Central Avenue. After an investigation, it was determined that 28-year old Katie Morrison of Campbellsville and her husband, 38-year old John H. Berry of Summersville, had gotten into an altercation. During the altercation, Katie Morrison shot Mr. Berry.
John Berry was transported to Taylor Regional Hospital where he later died.
Katie Morrison was arrested and charged with Murder and lodged in the Taylor County Detention Center.
