2021 was a very busy year for the Adair County Sheriffs Office.
Activity for the year is as follows:
- 8704 calls for service and complaints (this includes 911 and walk-in complaints)
- 454 warrants of arrest served
- 114 cases opened
- 225 accidents investigated
- 4,840 vehicles inspected
- 819 subpoenas served
- 482 civil process papers served
- 137 motorists assisted
- 144 prisoners transported
- 96 mentally ill transports for medical help
- 177,232 miles driven patrolling
- $7,830,293.13 in taxes collected as of 01-01-2022
In addition, court security bailiffs provided 1655 hours in the Adair County Judicial Building serving District and Circuit Courts.
The Sheriffs Office employees 7 full-time Deputies providing law enforcement 24 hours a day, 7 days a week to over 412 square miles of Adair County.
