Adair County Schools Providing NTI Rest of Week Due to Covid-19

Over the past several days we have observed an increase in the number of COVID-19 positive and quarantine cases.

Our current numbers are as follows: # of Staff Positives 14 # of Student Positives 28 # of Staff Quarantines 5 # of Student Quarantines 131

At this time our district will provide Non-Traditional Instruction (NTI) for the remainder of this week. All students will be participating in nontraditional instruction for Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday of this week (January 12th -14th). Monday, January 17th, there will be no school in observance of Martin Luther King, Jr holiday. All classes will resume on Tuesday, January 18th.

This break will give us time for deep cleaning our buildings and buses and keep large groups apart to hopefully help slow the spread and get our positive and quarantine numbers lowered.

Extracurricular activities will continue as planned. All COVID-19 guidelines and restrictions remain in effect.

If you have any questions, please contact your school or the Adair County Board of Education.
Thank you for your continued support.

Tomorrow, January 12th, at 12:00 PM CST, is the deadline for all students to change from virtual to face-to-face or face-to-face to virtual for the third nine weeks. The new nine weeks begins January 18th.
