The Kentucky Department of Enviromental Protection Emergency Response Team, EM, State Highway, Adair County Sheriffs Office and KSP along with many other responders, remain on the scene of a commercial vehicle accident on the Cumberland Expressway (Formerly known as the Cumberland Parkway). The eastbound lane remains closed between Edmonton and Columbia Exit 46.
This accident caused a release of milk into Big Creek in the Gradyville Community. While the release of milk poses no harm to livestock or persons, it can cause harm to aquatic species living in the streams.
