Today (Wednesday, May 11th) is the last day for excused absentee voting in the Russell County Clerk's office. The machine will be open until 4:00pmCT today.
Tomorrow (Thursday, May 12th) the 3 days of early voting begins at South Kentucky RECC, Thursday through Saturday from 9:00am-5:00pmCT each day. Any registered voter can go vote there, regardless of their precinct, however ALL VOTERS HAVE TO SHOW A PHOTO ID in order to vote, regardless if you know the election workers or not. A valid driver’s license is the best and quickest form of ID to get signed in with.
There will be no voting in Russell County on Monday, May 16th.
On Election Day (Tuesday, May 17th) polls will be open from 6a-6p at three Russell County voting center locations:
- South Kentucky RECC (community room)
- The LEVEE (behind the R.C. Courthouse) and
- Salem Elementary School
The Russell County Clerk’s office will be closed on Tuesday, May 17th.
