On Friday, August 26, 2022 the Adair County Sheriff's Office responded to a domestic violence complaint off of Keen Drive. Upon the deputies arrival, it was believed that at least one party outside of the residence was under the influence and in possession of narcotics.
As a result of the investigation, 43-year-old Cindy Shaw of Columbia was arrested on the following charges:
- Possession of a Controlled Substance 1st degree (Methamphetamine)
- Possession of a Controlled Substance 2nd degree (Drug Unspecified)
- Possession of Marijuana &
- Public Intoxication
The arrest was made by K-9 Deputy Chandler Staten who was assisted by Deputy Kenny Perkins.
