On Saturday, November 4, 2023 at approximately 11:20pmET, Campbellsville Police were dispatched to the Taylor County Attorney’s Office on East First Street in regards to a burglary in progress. Upon arrival, officers located an open door. After entering the building, officers located two males inside. It was determined that the two males had unlawfully entered the building and took cash and a firearm.
The two males, identified as 20-year-old Adrien Smith and 18-year-old Tavon Reed both of Campbellsville, were arrested and charged with Burglary 1st Degree and Criminal Mischief 2nd Degree. They were lodged in the Taylor County Detention Center.
Campbellsville Police Dept. Ofc. Ethan Ellis and Sgt. Adam Davis investigated the burglary.
