The Columbia Police Department responded to a single vehicle injury accident on the Veterans Memorial Bypass on Wednesday night, November 8, 2023.
After making contact, it was determined that the vehicle operator was under the influence. Both driver and passenger were transported by Adair EMS to TJ Health Columbia for treatment. The operator, upon release, was transported to the Adair County Regional Jail.
Jansen Miller, 21, of Columbia has been charged with DUI 1st and wanton endangerment, a class D felony.
CPD Officer Trevor Foster made the arrest. He was assisted on scene by other Units from the Columbia Police Department and the Adair County Sheriff’s Office.
