Rick Courtney, 68, of Breeding, KY was arrested by Trooper Burton with Kentucky State Police on Thursday afternoon. Courtney was charged with Rape 1st Degree and Sexual Abuse 1st Degree (victim under 12 years of age). He was lodged in the Adair County Regional Jail.

Brenda Martin, 40, of Russell Springs, KY was arrested by the Russell County Sheriff’s Office on Thursday evening. Martin was charged with Menacing, Public Intoxication of a Controlled Substance (Excludes Alcohol), Resisting Arrest, Terroristic Threatening 2nd Degree, Fleeing or Evading Police 1st Degree (on Foot) and Assault 3rd Degree (Police or Probation Officer).

Nathan McClure, 64, of Jamestown, KY was arrested by Kentucky State Police on Thursday afternoon for Failure to Wear Seat Belt, Failure to/or Improper Signal, Improper Equipment, Failure to Produce Insurance Card, Improper Display of Registration Plates, Failure of Owner to Maintain Required Insurance, Obstructed Vision and/or Windshield, Careless Driving and Operating Motor Vehicle Under the Influence of a Controlled Substance.

Both were lodged in the Russell County Detention Center.
