There will be other positions on the ballot for the 2024 Election, but local candidates for two offices are the ones that will be filing their paperwork with the Adair County Clerk's Office, 424 Public Square, Ste 3, Columbia, KY. Filing papers may be picked up in the Adair County Clerk's Office during normal business hours or online at: https://web.sos.ky.gov/ElectionsDYC.
Candidates for the following local offices can now file to appear on the 2024 Primary Ballot:
- Circuit Clerk
- Constable District 7 (unexpired term)
The last day to file your paperwork is January 5, 2024.
Candidates for the following local offices can now file to appear on the 2024 General Ballot:
Adair County School Board District 2
Adair County School Board District 4
Adair County School Board District 5
Columbia City Council
Soil and Water Conservation District Supervisors
The last day to file for the races above is June 4, 2024.
