The Columbia-Adair County Economic Development Authority has granted Board Chairman, Larry Walker, the authority to execute a letter of intent to enter into a ground lease agreement with a new prospective company regarding 2 possible options for land within Green River Commerce Park.
- Provide the 150,000 sq ft pad that is currently under construction, and add an additional 50,000 sq ft to the pad located on Lot 3. This would require the EDA to build a separate 40,000 sq ft pad for Phillips Tank & Structure on Lot 2.
- Provide a new 200,000 sq ft build ready pad on Lot 8.
An agreement to either of these options will bring a substantial economic impact to the community via significant job creation and capital investment.
