The Burn Bans that were issued recently by County Judges across the listening area were lifted yesterday.

While some of the area is still in the drought range when compared to past rains, the conditions have improved enough after the recent rains to lift the ban due to the immediate threat of out of control burns.

However keep in mind, we remain under the FALL forest fire hazard season, which makes it illegal to burn anything within 150 ft of any woodland or brushland between the hours of 6 a.m. and 6 p.m.
