A joint investigation by the Columbia Police Department, Kentucky Probation & Parole, and the Adair County Sheriff's Office resulted in the arrest of a male on the Kentucky Sex Offender Registration Violations.
On Friday, May 31, 2024, Adair County Sheriff Josh Brockman and Columbia Police Sgt. Evan Burton obtained warrants of arrest for 22-year-old Jordan Hilty of Columbia. This is a felony violation of the Sex Offender Registry.
Hilty was lodged in the Adair County Regional Jail by Sheriff Brockman and Sgt. Evan Burton on the following charges:
- Registered Sex Offender Public Playground Restrictions
- Registered Sex Offender Pool/Splash Pad Restrictions (4 counts)
- Registered Sex Offender Residence Violation and
- Failure to Comply with Sex Offender Registration.
The investigation is ongoing with more charges pending from KY Probation and Parole Officer Bryan Hogan.
