The Columbia Police Department responded to a 2-vehicle injury accident on Campbellsville Street on Friday evening, August 2, 2024.
The accident occurred when Shayla Barrett, 18, of Columbia, while operating a 2014 Honda Accord was waiting to turn at FiveStarr and was rear-ended by a 2008 Ford F250 traveling northbound, operated by Jonathan Miller, 31, of Campbellsville.
Barrett as well as two 17-year-old female passengers were transported to TJ Health Columbia for possible injuries.
Officer Holly Necessary was the investigating Officer. She was assisted on scene by Officers Joey Keith and Tyler McKinney. Columbia Fire and Adair EMS also responded to the scene.
