On Saturday evening, October 5, 2024 the Columbia Police Department initiated a traffic stop on West Barbee Street. After making contact with the driver, consent was given to search the vehicle with officers finding drug paraphernalia and suspected narcotics.
Paul Dart, 59, of Columbia, KY was placed in custody and charged with possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of a controlled substance (methamphetamine) 3rd offense.
Officer Joey Keith made the arrest. He was assisted by Officer Trent Williams.
