The Columbia Police Department responded to the Adair County Judicial Center on Tuesday afternoon, October 15, 2024. A female in the courtroom was attempting to conceal paraphernalia and narcotics while there for a court date.
Mary Sears, 38, of Russell Springs, KY has been charged with possession of a controlled substance (drug unspecified) 1st and 2nd degree as well as possession of drug paraphernalia.
Officer Trent Williams made the arrest and was assisted by Officer Travis Bell and Probation & Parole.
