Jamestown Fire Department Responds to Heavy Smoke Coming from Residense
At 3:30 Wednesday, Jamestown Volunteer FD Chief Jeff Landers was pulling into the Dollar Market and noticed smoke coming from the house at 105 Esto Rd. After contacting RCE911 a quick walk around was done, and found the owner was out side and no one else was inside. Under heavy smoke conditions, a quick interior attack was made and fire was extinguished in the kitchen area of the home. The home suffered some heat damage and smoke damage throughout. Jamestown Fire Department was assisted by their station 2, and the American Red Cross. 12 firefighters were on scene for just over an hour, no injuries were reported. A quick response, great team work, helped make a positive outcome. Great work everyone!
