Jamestown Fire Department Responds to Structure Fire Wednesday
At 11:30 Wednesday morning Jamestown station one and two were dispatched to a structure fire on Chatty Mann Road, northeast of the city limits, on scene crew members found heavy fire coming from the rear bedrooms of the structure. A transitional attack was implemented quickly, knocking the fire down and moving to the inside with fire damage contained to a bedroom, rear bathroom and kitchen area. The structure suffered heavy smoking and heat damage throughout, no injuries reported, fire department members were on scene for about two hours. They were assisted by Russell County dispatch 911 center, South Kentucky RECC,Jamestown water department., and The American Red Cross. 2 engines and 3 tenders responded. Great job everyone!
