I am pleased to share that Mr. Jordan Turner has been selected as the new principal of Russell County High School.

Mr. Turner currently serves as Principal of Green County High School and the Green County Area Technology Center. His background includes experience in school leadership, student achievement, career and technical education, staff supervision, budgeting, and daily school operations. In his application materials, he also noted that Russell County is home, making this opportunity especially meaningful to him.

I would like to thank the Russell County High School Site-Based Decision Making Council for their dedication and hard work throughout this process and their commitment to a thorough and thoughtful selection process.

As we move forward, I am confident Mr. Turner will work to support our students, staff, and families while continuing the strong traditions of Russell County High School.
