The Russell County Sheriff’s Office along with the Russell Springs and Jamestown Police Departments executed a search warrant on Sunday night on Snow Road off of Hales Highway.
 

Arrested at the scene was Christopher Fortenberry, 46, of Russell Springs. Fortenberry was charged with Trafficking in Methamphetamine, Trafficking in Marijuana,Trafficking in a Controlled Substance and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
 

Also arrested was Melandai Lyn Smith, 37, of Columbia. She was charged with Trafficking in a controlled substance (Methamphetamine), Possession of Marijuana, Illegal possession of a legend drug, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
 

Both subjects were lodged in the Russell County Detention Center. The case is being investigated by Deputy Sheriff Stone Bolin.

The case will be presented to a Russell County Grand Jury.
