Just after midnight Wednesday, JVFD members were dispatched to the report of a fire on Denmark Ln and Hwy 379.

First arriving units found a modular home fully engulfed in flames. The owner had been awakened by his neighbor and was not injured. The home was a total loss.

Engines 3, and 5, Tankers 2, 4, and 62 responded. JVFD had 12 personnel O/S  for 2½ hours. They were assisted by South KY RECC and the American Red Cross.
