Columbia, KY (August 2026) – Adair County Primary Center Preschool has been recognized with the prestigious Kentucky All STARS Level 5 Rating, the highest distinction awarded through the Kentucky Department of Education’s quality recognition system for early childhood programs.
This achievement reflects the preschool program’s ongoing commitment to providing exceptional learning experiences in a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment where every child has the opportunity to grow and succeed. The Level 5 designation recognizes excellence in these four areas: family and community engagement, classroom instruction, staff qualifications, and leadership practices.

Wes Irvin, Preschool Director, said “We are incredibly proud of our preschool team for earning this outstanding recognition. Their passion, professionalism, and commitment to our students is what makes Adair County Primary Center a wonderful place for children to learn, explore, and thrive.
