Monday afternoon new Jamestown Police Chief Nathan Antle was officially sworn in as the leader of the police department.

Mayor Regena Hinton led the ceremony as Chief Antle was sworn in, after his unanimous approval as chief from the City Council.

Former Chief Jeff Kerns will be assuming his new position as school resource officer at Jamestown Elementary, with the first day of school starting Wednesday.
