Russell County welcome Deputy Sheriff Heath Tarter to the Russell County Sheriff’s Office.  Deputy Tarter has been employed as a Court Security Officer, Jamestown Police Officer and has over 13 years of experience in the Law Enforcement, he graduated the Department of Criminal Justice in 2018. Deputy Tarter also Graduated Campbellsville University with a Bachelor of Science degree with emphasis in the Criminal Justice field.  He will be Protecting and Serving the Citizens of Russell County.
