The Columbia City Council meets at City Hall at 5 p.m. today (Tuesday) to vote on the city's 2026 property tax rates and award a construction bid for a new Gas Department building.
Council members will also vote on a resolution allowing the Columbia Fire Department to seek cost reimbursements for emergency services. The council will go into a closed executive session to discuss confidential economic development proposals with a business entity.
