A Russell Springs man was airlifted Sunday afternoon following a 2-vehicle collision at the intersection of U.S. 127 North, Jericho Road, and West Kentucky 76.
According to the Russell County Sheriff’s Office, J.L. Stargle was turning left when his Chevrolet S-10 was T-boned by an overtaking Ford F-250 driven by Jose’ Carmona of Nicholasville.
Mr. Carmona and his passenger were not injured. Mr. Stargle was extricated from his vehicle by Russell Springs firefighters and EMS before being taken to Russell County Hospital and subsequently airlifted. His passenger, Diane Radford, sustained minor injuries and was treated at the scene.
