A 13-year-old Russell Springs boy was seriously injured Saturday evening when his horse was struck by a vehicle on KY 80.
According to the Russell County Sheriff’s Office, Emanuel Yoder was riding near Goose Creek Hill around 7:30 p.m. when he was hit by a westbound vehicle driven by 53-year-old John Gosser.
Yoder was thrown from the horse and taken by Russell County EMS to Russell County Hospital with serious injuries. Gosser was uninjured, but the horse had to be euthanized due to severe injuries.
