On September 19, at approximately 2:48 a.m., the Russell Springs Volunteer Fire Department (RSVFD) responded to a house fire on Oak Street.
The home sustained severe damage. Eleven volunteer firefighters worked for approximately two and a half hours to extinguish the blaze.
The Russell Springs Police Department and Kentucky Utilities assisted at the scene.
No injuries were reported.
It is under investigation by the Russell Springs Police Department.
40 year old Joshua York has been lodged into the Russell County Detention Center and charged with
