Sheriff Bobby Jones reports the arrest of two individuals following an ongoing investigation by the Pulaski County Sheriff’s Office Narcotics Division into suspected drug trafficking.
On September 27, 2026, Deputy Grant Bryant stopped a silver Ford Explorer on North Highway 27. The driver was identified as Daniel Brosnan, 38, of Somerset, and the front-seat passenger was identified as Joshua Tucker, 44, of Nancy.
Sgt. Dylan West arrived with K-9 Rocky, who alerted to the presence of narcotics in the vehicle. During a search of the Explorer, deputies located approximately 307.3 grams of suspected methamphetamine, 27.9 grams of suspected fentanyl, two handguns, digital scales, baggies and a large sum of U.S. currency. Deputies also located approximately 206.3 grams of suspected methamphetamine on Tucker’s person.
Daniel Brosnan was charged with:
• Trafficking in a Controlled Substance, 1st Degree, 2nd or Subsequent Offense (Methamphetamine, 2 Grams or Greater), Firearm Enhanced
• Trafficking in a Controlled Substance, 2nd Degree, 2nd or Subsequent Offense (Fentanyl), Firearm Enhanced
• Possession of a Handgun by a Convicted Felon
• Obstructed Vision and/or Windshield
• Excessive Windshield/Window Tinting
• License Plate Obscured by a Rim or Frame
Joshua Tucker was charged with:
• Trafficking in a Controlled Substance, 1st Degree, 2nd or Subsequent Offense (Methamphetamine, 2 Grams or Greater), Firearm Enhanced
• Trafficking in a Controlled Substance, 2nd Degree, 2nd or Subsequent Offense (Fentanyl), Firearm Enhanced
• Possession of a Handgun by a Convicted Felon
Both individuals were lodged in the Pulaski County Detention Center.
Deputy Bryant was assisted by K-9 Rocky West, Detective Tan Hudson, Sgt. Marcus Harrison, Sgt. Dylan West, Deputy Casey Lang, Deputy Zack Huff and the FBI.
Sheriff Bobby Jones stated, “When it comes to drug trafficking in Pulaski County, we will work tirelessly to find those responsible and hold them accountable. We will continue working with our law enforcement partners to keep these dangerous drugs out of our communities.”
The case remains under investigation by Deputy Bryant.
