A suspect is in custody following a statewide manhunt across Kentucky triggered by a fatal trooper-involved shooting.
?Kentucky State Police confirmed that the "Blue Alert" issued during the search has been canceled after Louisville Metro Police Officers successfully apprehended the suspect. KSP expressed gratitude to LMPD and all assisting law enforcement agencies for their dedication and relentless efforts during the operation.
?The fallen officer has been identified as Trooper Hayden Phillips.
