CASEY COUNTY - A boil water advisory has been issued for East Casey County Water District customers until further notice, following a similar advisory put in place by the City of Liberty.
District officials announced that the precautionary advisory impacts all customers within their service area, with four specific exceptions:
- Dunnville
- South Fork Creek
- Windsor &
- Dry Creek
Residents living in the affected portions of the district are advised to bring all water used for drinking, cooking, making ice, brushing teeth, or food preparation to a rolling boil for at least one minute before use. Water remains suitable for routine activities like bathing and washing clothes, but consumable water should be boiled until testing confirms the supply is safe and the advisory is officially lifted.
Updates will be provided as local utility crews work to resolve the issue.
