On Sunday, October 11, 2026, Adair County Deputy Ricky Shirley conducted a traffic stop on KY 92 for a traffic infraction. After conducting a roadside investigation, Deputy Shirley arrested two Columbia, KY residents on the following charges:
Patricia Morrison:
-No Registration Plates
-Failure of Owner to maintain required insurance
-Poss of Cont Sub, 1st Deg, 1st Off (Methamphetamine)
Zachary Janes:
- Parole Board warrant
Deputy Shirley was assisted by Deputy Joey Keith.
